At Union Church we offer a venue to the town that helps make life better. As a result, we don’t just let anyone rent our rooms! We try to ensure that each group shares the same ethos as us, meaning they are inclusive and see themselves as a force for good! Therefore we don’t just view the groups that use our premises as rentees – we see them as family and partners. If you have an idea for a group that will help build community or help those in need (or both) please do talk to us about it – we have a variety of ways we can help get your idea off the ground.

Kinship Carers Support: Kinship Carers are a new addition to the Hub Family. Kinship care is when a child lives full-time or most of the time with a relative or close family friend, usually because their parents are not able to care for them. In the UK, there are more than 180,000 children in kinship care. Grandparents are the most common kinship carers, but older siblings, aunts, uncles, and people who know the child well can also take on the role. They provide friendship, support and advice to all kinship carers in the area, with or without a legal order. This is a safe, non-judgmental group who provide support to local kinship carers and their kinship children. https://compass.kinship.org.uk/
Amaze SEND parent support group. We have partnered with Amaze Sussex to provide a monthly drop in on Wednesdays. One month is run by Amaze and the other by ourselves with support from their volunteers. https://amazesussex.org.uk/
